India telecom infrastructure as such do not support 3G effectively till date (but they make great ads!). Also this iPad requires a microsim which also is not available. Wifi hot-spots are also not available everywhere. Add to that we hearing rumors about iPad 2 will have some new distinct features like memory card, usb, dual camera, A5 dual core processor, graphics card, high resolution display, etc; lets see how this iPad1 goes in India. All I feel is Apple is dumping discontinued products in countries like India and targeting only US/EU markets. This but I think it will still be able to attract considerable crowd.
