@vijay ... as you've already heard you just cant load os x on an external
and run it in windows ... however there are ways ... difficult yes, but they
do exist ways to run os x on a pc ... read on if you are interested ...

@sanjeev / @rishi ... os x has indeed been made to run on an number of pc's
(internal / external / virtual) *after* apple made the switch to intel cpu's
... the process is popularly known as 'hackintosh'. you need to have
specific hardware ... and it is not easy ... but *probably* not illegal if
you own a licensed version of os x ... in fact the popular website
lifehacker.com has a good tutorial on how to go about doing this :
http://lifehacker.com/#!321913/build-a-hackintosh-mac-for-under-800

it is definitely not for noobs and is cumbersome ... but i wont say that it
has ever been done or that its not possible.

also i dont know if any of you have heard about psystar ... it was a company
in the US which used to sell pc hardware with preloaded osx ... apple sued
them and psystar lost ... but again it was being done and as rishi
conjectured apple was indeed loosing revenue because of it

psystar was bypassing the efi check which apple still uses to prevent
loading of os x on non apple hardware ... and once they were prohibited from
selling the hardware, they started selling just the software to bypass the
check ... i have no idea what their status is now, as i completely lost
interest and forgot about the hackintosh scene until this mail reminded me!
