There was a Board resolution (last June IIRC) that delegated these
approvals to the EMO(ED). But yes, anything that derives from the globe
requires approval.

Once additional point is that derivative works of the Foundation's
Eclipse logo requires EMO/Board review/approval. I.e., I know
that the Board has had to review and approve a number of such
derivative works in the past years...
