Thanks for the answers!

I will try to clarify the requirements to include the Eclipse Passage via [email protected]

AF

Wayne,

Thanks for the clarification. I know that Kind of inclusion does happen occasionally, e.g. with Eclipse Modeling Package, but only under certain conditions.

That is correct, Werner. However, I believe that Alexander is asking a different question. I believe that he wants to include an incubating project's content in one of the Eclipse IDE packages produced by the Eclipse Packing Project from the Simultaneous Release content.

The short answer is yes, incubating components can be added to one of the packages. However, the viral nature of incubating branding would require that the package be labeled as "includes incubating components".

Ask the owner of the package to add your project's content via the [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> mailing list.

Yes of Course, if the Project is accepted and in the incubation
phase it may use „org.eclipse.*“ (whatever package your Project
might get that isn’t taken or would violate policies) immediately.

    Hello,

Is it possible for incubation project to be a part of Eclipse Package?

I would like to include Eclipse Passage LDC (Licensing Definition

Components) to "Eclipse IDE for RCP and RAP Developers".

There are templates for Licensed RCP already implemented (see
    attached)

and I plan to add more PDE-related functionality.

    Thanks in advance,

    AF
