Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, I was thinking of doing it this brute
way too. But, I'm a bit apprehensive if that causes any permanent
blemish to the system. Earlier some friends here, in situations
involving yum or revisor suggested some elegant ways. Just waiting if
some such suggestion come up. :)
