What I would really like, is a BDFL that says "this is not the moment to
discuss about desktops", we don't even have packages for any of them, let's
focus on what we need _now_.

Anyway, if it would come down to a poll, I'm pretty sure GNOME would win.


Well, polls might not be the better way to make such decision, the problem
is, is there anyone willing to mantain Indiana packages for desktop X, Y or
Z? There is no point in making a poll if none is going to maintain those
packages.

We need to stop this kind of pointless discussion and start focusing on
what we really need, a sane package managing system, an installer,
conventions for packaging, etc.

So whatever happens, let's just stop talking about WM's... We'll see in
