About the point about easily switching the desktop at login time, it is not just that. The default desktop will receive lot of developer attention, have lot better customizations, artwork, no broken links, etc. Use fluxbox from blastwave on solaris and fluxbox from a distro such as sabayon_linux or gparted(livecd). The difference is huge because the latter give lot attention to the desktop while the one in blastwave is plain vanilla. Incase of kubuntu there is a specific focus on KDE that will ensure user experience with kde in kubuntu is good. regards Shiv _______________________________________________ indiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/indiana-discuss
