Hi
I just tried out Indiana RC2a image. Overall installation experience
and 'fonts' look very smooth. Even the boot up time seem to have
improved compared to Developer Preview 2. Good going. Kudos to the
engineering team. However, I was surprised to see 'nwam' gui - for
network configuration is still not available. Any chance of this getting
integrated for GA ?

Couple of suggestions on future improvements could include

* Ability to select and download multiple packages concurrently using
Indiana's Package Manager. Currently, 'CNTRL+SHIFT' does not seem to work.

* Installer could automatically eject the CD before restarting the
system. Or at the least have it 'windows' way like requring user to
press any key for starts getting read at the time of boot up.

* When "nwam" service automatically brings up or down an interface,
currently, it opens up a message box providing the IP address. IMO, this
is not very user friendly. Probably, this message could be shown up as a
small icon in the taskbar. This way, when the interface goes up or down,
this does not affect regular work of the users.

* Indiana RC2 is still burning not lot of power when I run on my Tecra
M2. On battery, Windows XP (my other boot partition) gives me close to 2
hours of battery. With Indiana RC2, I could hardly cross more than 45
minutes. If there is some way, I can get better battery life, I would
really really appreciate

thanks
sriram
