Good posting indeed. When our ogranizations are busy of their own type of
islah and group activities, there must be someone to safeguard the interests
of their neighbors, who are depressed, suppressed and down trodden.
If they come to power then they have to intensify their work for the serving
the poor and needy. I think the best opportunity is to partake and come to
power in the local Municipalities and Panchayats like local bodies and free
pupblc funds from misappropriation and theft and reach the benefits and welfare
measures to those intended without malpractice.
Also we have to strive hard to stop usury by establishing interest free loan
funds, self financial help through ayalkootam and stop printing moulood etc.
Try to close down liqour shops and stop bribes for appointments in salafi sunni
managed AMLPs. Muslims should show islamic examples in all walks of life.
Zakah should be collected compulsorily and distributed among the needy.
This is what some Muslim and some communists fear if Islamic Movements comes to
power.
They have a hidden agenda as above to emancipate poor masses and Adam's
children who are deprived of life as we enjoy and those who live in jungles and
gutters. And oppressed by politicians and the rich.
