Dear Bhatt ji, I suggest you use dilute bathing or washing soap solution to wipe or brush over the affected parts. I use a tooth brush to scape the leaves and twigs. I read about this in a British wildlife magazine and tried it. It was a success. Also soap does not seem to cause any damage to the plants. The process is a bit combersome compared to using poisonous substances for ' zapping ' pests. I have also used simple water sprayed from close range to wash away the infection. I do not use any insecticide or fungicide etc. Hope this is useful.

Can somebody suggest the insecticide/ fungicide which I should use on the disease afflicting the Hibiscus plant. first I observed it in Mumbai, and I don't know whether I have carried it from there with the plants. Two of my lovely miniature hibiscus have been spolt because of it.
