Thanks,Satish. The description of flower is very apt

Does it belong to same family as sausage tree(kigelia africana)since the
flowers  of both look pretty similar

This tree is fairly common in gardens and roadsides, sometimes almost an avenue
tree

Another common name is marodphali, because of the twisted fruitpod(I actually
saw good no of them on a tree this morning, the tree also having fair no of
flowers)

Nice good snap of the flower showing all its parts calyx, corolla, androecium
and gynoecium.
Certainly appears to be from Bignoniaceae family.
Bell shaped flower
One can observe the didynamous nature of the androecium i.e. four stamens in
two groups of different lengths which is seen in most of the members.
Will you please elaborate on the name of the tree and area in Delhi....planted
as garden variety or natural?
Thanks
Satish
