Hi Sibdas,
    Though it appears to be cultivated it seems to be a tree of moderate size 
with pedunculated flowers borne in clusters towards the ends of branches. [The 
leaves however appear broader than long as is usually seen in B.variegata]. 
However, I still feel it is B. purpurea locally called Kanchan.
