Thank you Satish ji, may I ask whether this tree is unusual or there could be variation from tree to tree?

From: [email protected] To: [email protected] CC: [email protected] You are right. You have to look for flowers only in late evening actually night. In the morning all the flowers are wilted. Pollination by bats........night flowering! Satish 2009/3/11 rashida atthar <[email protected]> Dear Garg ji & all, This kigelia africana syn: pinnata was seen by me at Lalbaug, Bengalaru on 16th Feb '09, both fruiting and flowering. It is mentioned in books that flowering is generally in April, so this one is flowering early! It is a huge tree and an absolute delight to watch. These pics were taken between 7.00 pm and 8.00pm, that is also the time the buds flower of this tree and fall off at dawn. regards, Rashida Atthar Twice the fun— Share photos while you chat with Windows Live Messenger. -- http:// satishphadke.blogspot.com _________________________________________________________________ How fun is this?
