Finally, I got the reference of मेंढशिंगी in Marathi for the Wodier tree.

An entry at *Revised and enlarged edition of Prin. V. S. Apte's The
practical Sanskrit-English dictionary*
http://dsal.uchicago.edu/cgi-bin/philologic/search3advanced?dbname=apte3&query=Odina&matchtype=exact&display=utf8

अज aja : (page 31)
......................................2 goat's path. -शृङ्गी [अजस्य मेषस्य
शृङ्गमिव फलं यस्याः सा] N. of a plant, विषाणी or Odina Wodier, highly
medicinal, (Mar. मेंढशिंगी), See मेषशृङ्गी.

>From the above entry, Odina Wodier (syn, of Lannea coromandelica) has
अजशृङ्गी and विषाणी as two names in Sanskrit; and मेंढशिंगी in Marathi.

If we have some friends here who are enthusiastic about names of flora,
please come forward and enlighten us regarding acceptance of these names for
Wodier tree.
Regards.
