To differentiate the species of Flacourtia one will have to work on micro
observation level and it is difficult to distinguish just looking at the
pictures on Computer.(Unless they are ID oriented with completely showing
all morpho. features........? one might get these in future thanks to
Indiantreepix)
A) First of all the flowers of this genus are unisexual.
B)Now applying the key as per BSI
1. Styles absent (stigma
sessile)...........................................................F.latifolia
1. Styles distinct and conspicuous:
2. Young twigs often densly tomentose,
sometimes minutely puberulous; leaves turning
brown on drying.
...................................................F. montana
2. Young twigs glabrous or glabrescent;
leaves not turning brown
........................................................ F. Indica
