A. concinna has got a number of synonyms as A. regata, Mimosa regata, etc. In Bengal it is called Ritha, used for washing woollen cloth, and hair shampooing. Possibly an ingredient for Shikakai shampoo. It is the host plant for the larvae of the beautiful butterfly- Pantoporia- common Lascar.
