Rani ji, I could not find much about this species on internet (and I have
limited reference books).

I wish to know following:
... synonyms: *Vitis auriculata* ? *Cissus auriculata *? *Cayratia
auriculata* ?
... any common name(s): ?
... regions native to, OR distribution: ?
... any good reference (URL or some book): ?

and any point which differentiates it from *C. elongata.*
... there is one Google Book reference Prodromus Floræ Peninsulæ Indiæ
Orientalis<http://books.google.com/books?id=yRsYAAAAYAAJ&pg=PA129&lpg=PA129&dq=Vitis+auriculata&source=bl&ots=xGUrCKpLBG&sig=bHkbKVEW11z-s6rdCyn-4VF_s-A&hl=en&ei=1jdbSvj6JI2U6wOo092VCw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=10>which
discusses both these species (
*Cyphostemma auriculata* and *Cissus elongata* ) and they seem very close.

Regards, and many many thanks for this ID !!!
