Garg ji
As per GRIN Taxonomy website *Elaeodendron glaucum* (Rottb.) Pers. is the
correct name and Cassine glauca (Rottb.) O.Ktze. as a synonym. It is good to
follow local Flora, but as every Flora book sooner or later will become
older, we keep the strategy of following KEW World Checklist (for families
covered), GRIN Taxonomy and Sorting Plant Names, where ever available in
that sequence. They keep on updating nomenclature. Only where recent
nomenclature is not available for any species, we will follow the most
recent local Flora, that covers this species.
