Gurcharan ji, ** *'कुल' 'Kul"* is the perfect word for Family in Marathi. You can use it in Hindi also... as they used in mythology like... "RaghuKul riti sada nibhaye, pran jaye per bachan na jaye'" "रघुकुल रिती सदा निभाए, प्राण जाये पर बचन ना जाये"
