Team RAKSHA invites one and all on 24th oct being united nations day and
global day of action for climate change. We request all to join us with
white clothing at Ram Niwas Gardens, JLN Marg Gate , Jaipur at 9.30A.M.
-11.00am for a *PEACE RALLY* to to unite combat climate change.
After the rally, 350 formations ……event to make that most important number
visible to everyone and make people aware about it. *350 FORMATIONS *by
students, National Merit awardee Artist for Miniature Writing on Rice by
Neru Chhabra, Jeweller Sanjay Jain(Bandhoo), painting done by Mrs. Shalini
Gupta, villager, painter, florist live with the effects of climate* *change
etc.* *--and if we were doing it all by ourselves it probably wouldn't
matter. But we won't be--that day is a Global Day of Action on Climate
Change, and there will be 4000 connected events in 89 Countries around the
world.
The event will conclude with the formation of *Indian Youth Climate
Network (Jaipur chapter - JYCN)* on the 24th of October 2009 at 10.45AM.
Wherein a committee will be formed having representatives from various
schools, colleges, NGOs, trusts, societies, corporates etc. which will work
to combat climate change in Jaipur.
