Dear Telugu-knowing friends, the name *katampam* for *Sigesbeckia
orientalis* seems to be borrowed from the Tamil name for the plant,
Reference: The Useful Plants of India published by NISCAIR

I could not succeed in finding such name anywhere on the internet. The
nearest word is కదంబము kadambamu
<http://dsalsrv02.uchicago.edu/cgi-bin/romadict.pl?query=kadambamu&table=brown>

Please help in giving the name *katampam* in native script.

There is another name - *rekkala ravi* ... reference: ENVIS - FRLHT
<http://envis.frlht.org/plant_details.php?disp_id=5713&parname=2613> ...
would it be written as రెక్కల రావి ?

Regards.
Dinesh
