Decidedly Proteaceae, probably either a Grevillea or possibly a Banksia
species. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

Regards--
Ken Greby.

Subject: [efloraofindia:27801] I.D. of the plant requested

A tree looking almost like pines , bright orange coloured flowers
Grown in rows in a Forest near Konarak in Orissa, seems to be sand
binder. The flowers reminded me of those of Silver Oak ( Grevillea
robusta), but the leaves are quite different.
