Dear Rashida ji
When you have opportunity have look at the plant in detail. There are
number of locations where this plant is growing in shillong. I have a
look at the shillong park and BSI EC garden. Ovary is 5-celled. Many
members of Araliaceae especially Brassaiopsis and Schefflera looks
alike but with the help of cell of ovary you can easily differentiate
between the two. The former being only with 2-celled ovary.
I sent a few good photographs of mine to tanay ji, pl. see them.
