Dear friends and Viplav ji, Other than the generic name *બોર bor* (or *બોરડી bordi*), there is another name *erandi* OR *eramdi* listed for *Ziziphus oenoplia* in Biological Diversity of Gujarat <https://gec.gujarat.gov.in/downloads/BiologicalDiversityContents.pdf> [PDF]. *Eranda* is a well-known name for castor-oil plant. Would like to know whether *Z. oenoplia* indeed shares the name એરંડી erandi with castor-bean plant.
