Hi Ken,
The post also didn't show in my inbox. Will send it to you separately. About
the endangered bit, have read it somewhere, but haven't been able to figure out
how it could be so as it is fairly prevelant in and around Bombay.
                         Regards,
                          Neil.

Neil--

Sorry, I missed the photos (sometimes Yahoo emails "disappear"), but
nonetheless, I was not aware that Oroxylum was endangered. Is this a recent
listing? Due to habitat degradation? It is occasionally grown in Florida, USA
as an interesting ornamental tree.

Regards--
Ken.

Very nice, detailed shots Neil.  Thanks for sharing. Seeds of the biggest
compound leaves tree.

regards,
Rashida.

Hi,
Photographed at my farm at Shahapur on Sunday.  Oroxylum indicum [Tetu, Ullu]
also called the ‘Indian Trumpet Flower’ or ‘The Sword of Damocles’, though
endangered is fairly common here. A few years ago [in July ‘06] with the onset
of the monsoons had witnessed seeds germinating en masse on the ground as they
lay in their dehisced pod. Unfortunately had not captured the images then.
   Sending a few photographs.
                   With regards,
                      Neil Soares.
