Subject: [efloraofindia:321258] ... plebeium VS plebejum
To: efloraofindia <[email protected]>

Dear friends,

... *plebejum* seems to be a proper epithet. It is found in quite a few
scientific names.
I assume *Polygonum plebeium* R.Br. and *Polygonum plebejum* R.Br. are
synonymous ... not sure whether there is any mistake in doing so.
Is one of them in Greek and other in Latin ?
They both mean same ... "common", and are even pronounced the same plebeium

plebejum

Please throw some light on this close names.

Regards.
Dinesh
