Gurcharan ji, To me your Madhuca-longifolia-var-longifolia picture looks like M. longifolia var. latifolia. My perception is that South Indian Mahua leaves are more mango-like. Leaves in your picture appear to be obovate, which is a Mahua feature. However, I could easily be wrong, with not much experience with these species.
