Thanks very much Gurcharan ji for bringing this post up for validation.
I too am keen to know whether I am mistaking the subspecies that I have
labeled for an unarmed tree seen at Vaghbil, Thane.

The last photograph taken on Jan 25, 2009, at Zirad near Alibag,
Maharashtra does not show aspects other than a cluster of dried-up pods -
it might be at best taken just as Acacia nilotica.
