I could finally find *Plantago major *var.* brachyphylla *in GBIF <https://www.gbif.org/species/11043264> (syn: *Plantago himalaica* Pilg.; *Plantago brachyphylla* Edgew.; *Plantago gentianoides *Decne.). I think it looks different from both the specimens given in GBIF <https://www.gbif.org/species/11043264>. POWO <https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:685224-1> and CoL <http://www.catalogueoflife.org/annual-checklist/2019/details/species/id/ddb9400ee536c8a49f6322c7504fda01/synonym/2697b2a6168a86e4fd652721f7739677> give it as *Plantago himalaica* Pilg.
