For a Botanists also every time it is not possible to have multiple pics.
Some time before in the begining of oct, during our flower hunting tour to
Morni Hills (Haryana) we just stopped at one place to have some water. We
went on climbing the hill to get water. As we went to some hight we got a
peculiar plant but without flowers. After discussion we conclude that this
may be an orchid or a member of Zinziberaceae. We went further to search
that plant with flowers and got many more other flowers and we shot many
pics. After going to a distance of allmost 2-3 KMs we realize that we are
short of memory cards and batteries. It was decided that now we will not
take more than 3 photographs of a single plant. So we missed many important
characters of the plants captured. As we were on return journey and it was
necessary to go back on the same day. We missed that opprtunity for atleast
one year. So we should keep in mind the following things during field visit
*1. Atleast two or more set of additional camera batteries be there with us.

2. Many memory cards of low capacity ( 1 or 2 GB). as high memory capacity
cards gets corrupted many times. If a card with 1 GB corrupts, we will lost
onle some images, with 4GB or higher we may lost much more number of pics

3. A handheld power source to charges batteries ( Many hand driven chargers
made in Taiwan or China are available in market now)

4*. *One stand by camera (atleast simple digicam) as in humid area or in fog
cameras may get jam or their display may get damaged. *
*
5 If travelling by a car or jeep we may keep a car invertor with us for
power source. During our visit to chakrata, morni hills and yamunotri, we
faced the problem of electricity supply. This problem gets worsned during
rainy season

By observing these facts and some others We will be able to get

 "Multiple Pics from Many angles"
