Why the Magnolia grandjflora is larger in Eastern part of the ountry than Kasmir. Though long time ago a mali from Shere-Kashmir-Internation Comfrence Centre tolm me that it is not M. grandiflora. The gradiflora has large flowers. And I have seen in Shilong that M grandiflora used to have realy large. The span of its flower was sometimes more than a foot.
