Dear Tanay I had gone through this already. It is confusing as it write Fertile stamens 6-8, Fertile stamens 5 (I think it should be stamens 6-8, fertile stamens 5).
Bauhinia blakeana is a sterile hybrid, and known trees in the world are clones of a single hybrid tree developed in Honkong, so we can't expect white variant in this species. -- Dr. Gurcharan Singh Retired Associate Professor SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 Res: 932 Anand Kunj, Vikas Puri, New Delhi-110018.
