Good evening Sir

Last night while going to bed it occurred to me that we have lost many
regional Bengali words that once were of common use. Any many words have
got their meanings quite changed. AAJKAAL, a Bengali Daily, often features
these Bengali words.

One of my ex-colleagues said, "...If you want to learn meanings of Bengali
words do consult lexicon of older days, like one by Rajsekhar Basu, or
better a lexicon named KARIKA...", if i remember him correctly.
