Yes Garg ji: Just saw this message...
I agree wholeheartedly that Raman Arunachalam has been a great contributor,
I came to know of him here when he posted pictures of a spectacular red
flowered tree called Australian flame tree.. Brachychiton acerifolium ...
I was fascinated that it grew in India... just the year before I had seen
one in public park in San Diego California and had taken me a week of
searching to ID it ( I was not a member of eflora then), and not a single
one was to be had in LA county, someone at UCLA Bot Garden and the LA
county parks dept came up with ideas... and I found the
classification...and my diagnosis... and a year later joined eflora and
....

since Madhuri Pejaver and I showed interest in the seed pods of the red
flame tree, Raman went some weeks later and collected the pods and
photographed them...
truly an asset...
He has shown tremendous dedication in following th4e ficus story and
documenting trees of Lalbagh...

SO WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO TO COMMEND HEIM, how do you plan to reward him?
