A reply: "Pity it's out of focus - and the base is hidden (frond-bases are nearly always more important than apices). Also, for Pteris, we need to see close-ups of the pinna to see if it's apiculate or has setae etc. And for P. biaurita - this species - we need to see a close up of the underside of a pinna to see the venation. At a guess it is probably subsp. fornicata, with the long narrowish areole near the pinna-costa - but we can't see that in the photo. Best, Chris F.-J."
