Hi, Mau nambahin dikit, kebetulan belom lama ini abis migrasi 8i ke 10g jg. Perhatikan patch level matrix oracle 8i nya untuk bisa upgrade ke 10g. Karena kalo memang 8i nya sudah patchset terakhir(patchset 4 alias 8.1.7.4) bisa direct upgrade ke 10g. Untuk metode upgradenya ada beberapa pilihan : 1. Exp/Imp 2. Manual upgrade (Metalink Note : 316889.1) 3. Pakai DBCA. (tips perhatikan Tablespace2 yg masih Dictionary managed untuk diubah ke Local Managed, kudu diubah manual setelah upgrade) Lengkapnya ada semua di dokumentasi and Metalink. Happy Upgrade!! :)
