Perhatikan patch level matrix oracle 8i nya untuk bisa upgrade ke 10g. Karena kalo memang 8i nya sudah patchset terakhir(patchset 4 alias 8.1.7.4) bisa direct upgrade ke 10g. Untuk metode upgradenya ada beberapa pilihan : 1. Exp/Imp 2. Manual upgrade (Metalink Note : 316889.1) 3. Pakai DBCA. (tips perhatikan Tablespace2 yg masih Dictionary managed untuk diubah ke Local Managed, kudu diubah manual setelah upgrade) Lengkapnya ada semua di dokumentasi and Metalink.
