Menurut perkembangan terakhir pesawat 1-2Go yang jatuh di Phuket tersebut tidak terkover oleh asuransi lokal. Untuk berita lengkapnya saya kutip di bawah. Saya sendiri masih merasa enggan untuk beli asuransi perjalanan. Terutama penerbangan lokal. Enggak tahu kenapa asuransi itu dibuat terpisah dengan harga tiket pesawat. Jadi sepertinya engga ada 'paksaan' membeli. Atau memang itu policy Jasa Raharja ya? Sehabis check in mau boarding mbak2 yang jual asuransi seperti merengek, menawarkan produk ke calon penumpang. Biasanya saya lansung menolak. Bukan karena duitnya tapi karena kurang integrasi. Coba kalau Adam Air, Batavia atau Wings meminta 5rebu rupiah asuransi per orang jadi satu dengan tiket jelas saya ikhlas. Untuk asuransi perjalanan yang Mas Nug sebutkan itu biasanya saya beli kalau jarak jauh dan lebih dari 2 minggu. Macem2 jenisnya. Ada yang single trip dan annual (pertahun). Untuk backpacker yang lebih dari 90/120 hari ada khusus juga. Biasanya cukupan untuk mencover perjalanan panjang.
