In line with companys growth ambition, is currently looking for qualified
young talented candidates to fill following position;
SEED PRODUCTION RESEARCH EXECUTIVE (code SPR)
Primary tasks for the role are:
Identifying right land and growers to conduct SPR trials.
Raise grower contracts
Planting trials as per the plan and time lines given by SPR Lead.
Closely work with the growers to help them follow correct agronomic & plant
protection schedules.
Ensures all action plans implemented in trial sites towards germplasm
security.
Collects all information needs to be collected in each trial as per the
guidelines.
Personally monitors all critical activities such as plantings, taking
flowering notes, harvest, shelling and recording yield data.
Sends field trials data on a regular basis to the central data base location
as advised by SPR Lead.
Extended tasks for the role are:
Getting to know more about seed manufacturing over time
Data compilation and analysis
The Requirements of this position are shown below:
Both male / female
Bachelor degree in Agriculture with sound knowledge in Agronomy preferred.
Any other science grads with good aptitude to lean Agriculture.
Fresh grads out of University with potential to learn fast are preferred.
Good leadership, result orientation, communication skill, team work, good
networking, initiative and foresight skill
Good proficiency in spoken and written English
Possesses technical capabilities on experimental / research design and
strong analytical skill
Computer skills especially in MS Office. Knowledge in Statistics is
desirable.
Willing to work in fields very close to the growers and need to understand
rural psychology.
Willingness to travel and adapt to changes.
Desire to learn and grow and flexible attitude to move to other functions
over time, if required by the organization
