PROLOG NEWS : Ojetil News 17/12/98, Considering to the slowing news about the three days of demonstration hold in Dili and still go on until now. The demonstration including 15.000 of East Timorese Youth with the following grand issues as their main demands : First, is to stop the military operation that still acting in whole of the villages. Second, is the non valid data as the result of the investigation towards on the civilians victims in Alas, Same, Turiscai , Liquisa, Lospalos and the others places, that was not identifying yet. Third, is the total withdraw of Indonesian military in the territory of East Timor and referendum immediately as pre-condition to self-determination with the supervision by U.N. This news is to expose the actual condition that across now, because just now, there is not yet any news as well as, mass media, electronics and also solidarity institution or CNRT. THE ACTION CHRONOLOGIES : Monday, 14th of December of 1998. At 08.00 AM : The demonstrators start from UNTIM (East Timor University) towards to Indonesia Parliamentary Council in Dili. It was coordinated by Ojetil and Solidarity Council with the following demands : a. Withdraw the Indonesian military immediately from East Timor land. b. Refuse the result of the investigation team about the massacre in Same committed by Indonesian military. c. The action ended without any audience with Indonesian parliamentary Council of East Timor. Tuesday, 15 of December of 1998. At 08.00 AM : The demonstration start with the same demands of the first day. Wednesday, 16th of December of 1998. At 08.00 AM : The demands of the demonstrations are the same as the first day. Thursday. 17th of December of 1998. At 08.00 : The demonstrators were concentrated in the Indonesian Parliamentary Council and demonstrating around Dili city by using Cars and hundreds of bicycles. According to Ojetil Journalist, the demonstrators were around 15.000 took part in the demonstration. The main demands of the demonstrators were Referendum as the process to Independence. In the demonstration they demanded also the following things : a. The withdraw of Indonesia military from East Timor. b. Refuse the result of investigation team on the military new massacre in East Timor especially in the area of Alas/Same, Viqueque, Atabai and Maliana. c. Urge the International Community to help the refugees from Atabai and Turiscai that are in Dili now. Until the confirmation of this news, the demonstrators are still in Parliamentary Council in awaiting for their main demands. PROLOG BERITA : Ojetil News 17/12/98, Mempertimbangkan keterlambatan penurunan berita aksi-massa di Dili yang telah berlangsung semenjak tiga hari yang lalu dan terus berlangsung hingga hari ini, dengan melibatkan hampir mencapai 15000-an massa pemuda dengan "grand issues" tuntutan: Pertama, Menghentikan operasi militer yang sedang dilancarkan di hampir kantong-kantong massa di pedesaan. Kedua, Ketidak-valid-an data hasil investigasi terhadap korban pembantaian penduduk sipil di Alas, Same, Turiskai, Liquisa, Lospalos, dan tempat-tempat lain yang belum teridentifikasi. Ketiga, Penarikan total ABRI dari teritori Timor Timur dan sesegera mungkin mengadakan Referendum menuju pra-kondisi "self determination" dengan pengawasan PBB. Penurunan berita ini semata-mata untuk mengekspose kondisi aktual yang berlangsung saat ini, karena hingga berita kronologi ini disusun dan diwartakan belum satupun saluran informasi baik media masa, elektronik dan yayasan solidaritas ataupun organ tunggal Musyawarah Perlawanan Nasional CNRT, tidaklah tanggap dan menyiarkan berita aksi-massa ini. KRONOLOGI AKSI : Senin, 14 Desember 1998 Pukul 08.00 BBWI : Massa bergerak dari kampus Untim menuju kantor DPR Dili, dikordinir oleh Dewan Solidaritas dan OJETIL dengan tuntutan antara lain : a. Penarikan Pasukan ABRI dari Timor Leste. b. Menentang hasil dari Tim investigasi atas Pembantaian di Alas- Same c. Aksi berakhir dengan tanpa melakukan audensi dengan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Timor Timur Selasa, 15 Desember 1998. Pukul 08.00 BBWI : Melakukan konsentrasi aksi, tuntutan dan prosesi aksi yang sama dengan hari pertama. Rabu, 16 Desember 1998. Pukul 08.00 BBWI : Melakukan konsentrasi aksi, tuntutan dan prosesi aksi yang sama dengan hari pertama. Kamis, 17 Desember 1998. Pukul 08.00 BBWI: Massa berkumpul di kantor DPR kemudian berdemonstrasi berkililing kota Dili dengan menggunakan 250 kendaraan beroda empat serta sepeda dayung dan kendaraan beroda dua yang tak dapat dihitung jumlahnya. Dan menurut sumber informasi kami di tempat diperkirakan 15.000 (lima belas ribu demonstran) telah turut ikut ambil bagian. Berdasarkan informasi dari sumber kami pula para demonstran telah menempuh rute aksi dari : Kantor DPR BPD KODIM Hotel Turismo- Bemori- Leusari- POM- Balide - Bairo-Pite- Delta- Bundaran (Bandar Comoro)- Mercado Comoro-Fatu-hada- Kantor Gubernur- Toko Sinar Hidayat- KOREM PERUSDA-UNTIM dan berakhir di kantor DPR. Dan hingga berita ini diturunkan massa masih menduduki kantor DPR. Setelah tiba di tempat semula dilakukan pula orasi dengan tema gugatan Referendum menuju Kemerdekaan. Tuntutan utama yang digugat oleh massa demostran adalah: a. Penarikan Pasukan ABRI dari Timor Leste. b. Menentang hasil dari Tim investigasi pada pembantaian terbaru di Timor Leste, khususnya di wilayah Alas/Same, Viqueque,Atabai dan Maliana. c. Mendesak Dunia Internasional untuk memberikan bantuan kepada para pengungsi dari Atabai dan Turiskai yang sekarang berkumpul di Dili.
