He said only foreign parties had so far levelled what he called "terrifying allegations" (about human rigts abuses in East Timor), while domestic parties had not. Institutionally, the TNI leadership had never order nor advised the burning of towns, the murder of many people, and the evacutions of East Timorese, he said. As a matter of fact, TNI had been trying to create a conducive situation to ensure smooth in accordance with the tripartite agreement between Indonesia, Portugal and United Nations. Aksed to comment on a number of human rigths abusses after the Wiranto said they were triggered by uncontrollable emotions on the part of East Timorrese who felt cheated by the result of the allegedly rigged. He said he had no problem with the KPP HAM report if it was balanced. Both TNI and the KPP HAM tried to seek the truht and balance between initial report from the International.
