        It works just fine for me and everyone else I know. (-:
        I currently use straight rcs5.7 from prep, emacs19.30 version
control, and seven platforms (SunOS, Solaris, HPUX, IRIX, AIX, OSF/1,
Ultrix).
        cvs1.6 works okay too, from what I can tell.  (1.6 is the
first version of cvs I've seen that passes "make check" on HPUX.
1.5 and higher are happy on the other platforms.)
