Hi, all.
I have a customer account in transarc.com cell and have been getting
AFS binaries with that account as many of you do. I've been using that
account since last year without any problem.
But suddenly last week, I failed to klog to transarc.com. The messages
are like the following;
% klog jwkhong -cell transarc.com
Password:
Unable to authenticate to AFS because Authentication Server was unavailable.
I checked the CellServDB entries, but they have correct IP & names.
I ping-ed to those 3 servers, and also they are alive and connectable from
here. What's suspicious I think is that UDP routing somewhere between here
and Transarc is blocked. But I'm not sure.
I'd like to hear any similar behaviors experienced out there. Do
you have any idea about this ? This problem already made me very annoyed
and I want to fix it ASAP. Any advices are welcomed. Many thanks in advance.
