solaris AFS client

Hello,
I'am thinking on upgrading my SparCstation 10 from SunOS 4.1.4 to Solaris
2.5,and since we are on AFS could anyone tell me how stable is the AFS client
for Solaris. I will probably get a second processor. So maybe I should
say both the SP and the MP versions.
