I loaded the afs client software on a couple of solaris 2.5 ultra
desktop systems. There has been no problems. Note also that there
is only one hardware architecture release .../sun4x_55 in the
transarc distrubution directory, I assume that the 4x means it will
work on any sun architecture (except "sun4", Sun dropped support for
Solaris 2.5 on sun4 architectures), sun4c, sun4m, sun4e.
I have not tried any afs server software.
