This question has been asked over and over again. To the best of my knowledge
there is not a version of dtlogin that has been made AFS-saavy. However,
there is an AFS-aware of xdm that does the right thing. You could use that,
you'd just need to have it call the CDE version of Xsession instead of the
standard openwin Xsession. You will lose the ability to switch between CDE,
openwin, and console-only sessions if you use this solution, however.
Some of us are hoping that 2.6 will include support for PAM (pluggable
authentication modules) that will allow us to add AFS-authentication to CDE
without having the source code for dtlogin. Has anyone with a 2.6 beta checked
this out? (We have a beta copy at our site, but I've not had an opportunity
to check it out myself.)
