To anyone in AFS land,
We are planning to implement RAID on our AFS servers, and I was interested
in anyone's experiences with this type of configuration.
We will be using an UltraSPARC 2 with 192MBs of memory & 2ea Fast & Wide
SCSI controllers attached to a RAID unit from Clarion (sp?) that has 20ea
8GB disks. We plan to partition the RAID unit into 4 partitions with ~32GB
each. Two partitions will be placed on each SCSI controller. We would
also like to use Clarion's failover software that would allow one
controller to address all 4 partitions in case of a controller failure.
Does anyone have any experience with a configuration similar to this???
