Help on accesing afs volume

Hi,
 I am trying to acess RW volume of on the filserver but received the
message, "no such device"...don't know what's wrong??

e.g. cd /afs/ab.test.com, when I do a 'ls -al', I see
     the readonly volume, but when I cd /afs/.ab.test.com, I could not
     find the RW directory/volume. I checked the volume with 
     vos examine/vos listvldb/vos listvol, the volume seems
     be ok for RW and RO volumes.
If you have any clue, please help...
