actually 2.6 is pretty snappy. memory is cheap nowadays. just slap more
in and you will see an improvement... besides I'm now totally spoiled working
with machines with lots of ram... all the sw developer machines here have
256-512mb worth of ram... since I'm only a bofh, I only rate 128 :) I could get
more but I don't need it.
