Hello,

Just want to let you know that Mr. Olivier LE MOIGNE already found out
the problem for me. I should have the following lines in my
/etc/pam.conf file:
----------------------
telnet auth optional /usr/lib/security/pam_unix.so.1
telnet account optional /usr/lib/security/pam_unix.so.1
ftp auth optional /usr/lib/security/pam_unix.so.1
ftp account optional /usr/lib/security/pam_unix.so.1

I should also remove "pam_dial_auth.so.1" entry from my /etc/pam.conf
file, otherwise anyone who can access the console can login as anyuser.

As for the warning in the /var/adm/messages:
        pam_afs: Unknown option: setenv_password_expires
He said he also has the same message in the /var/adm/messages file.
Maybe this should be reported to Transarc.

Thanks for the replies and the help!

Julia
